Digital Upskilling Plan

  • Identify your goals: Determine what specific digital skills you would like to acquire and why they are important for your personal or professional development. Consider setting both short-term and long-term goals.
  • Assess your current skills: Understand your current level of digital skills by taking an assessment or self-evaluation. This will help you determine what areas you need to focus on and prioritize.
  • Research learning resources: Research different learning resources such as online courses, tutorials, and certifications that align with your identified goals and current skills level. Look for resources that cater to different learning styles and have positive reviews. Give preference to resources created by women or that are specifically targeted to women.
  • Create a learning plan: Create a learning plan that includes specific learning goals, timelines, and resources. Make sure to schedule time in your calendar for learning and practice, and consider setting milestones to track progress. It’s important to factor in the potential barriers for women such as family responsibilities, work-life balance and discrimination, into the planning process.
  • Learn from others: Join online communities or groups of women with similar interests and goals in digital upskilling. Connect with mentors, peers, and experts in your field.
