Active teaching methodologies Pt.2

Empowered 06/02/2023
  1. Cooperative learning it allows a “common construction” of “objects”, procedures, concepts. It consists in collaborating towards a common result.
  2. Peer education: methodology aimed at preventing risky behaviour and developing life skills. The peer is not an expert but an ordinary person who stimulates socialization within a group thanks to his awareness of communication processes.
  3. Flipped classroom: “flipped teaching” study before giving a lesson; in this way the person is asked to take charge of his own learning process.
  4. Laboratory teaching: It favors experiential learning “to encourage operations and at the same time dialogue, reflection on what one is doing”, thus favouring opportunities for students to actively build their knowledge.
