Being aware of the implications of poor time management reminds us of what we don’t want:
- Poor workflow (e.g., not completing related tasks together reduces efficiency)
- Wasted time (e.g., using social media while doing a task will get you stuck on that task)
- Loss of control (e.g., anxiety kicks in when you don’t know the next step in a new task;)
- Poor quality work (e.g., rushing to complete tasks takes a high toll on quality)
- Poor reputation (e.g., if you constantly disrespect deadlines, your customers will take their businesses elsewhere)
